By Diana Gasperoni Sean Grover has created a book for any parent with a bully or any professional who works with kids. He has covered so many scenarios that you as a parent, will be able to identify with and start to create a healing environment in your home. Professionals who work with kids can use it as supervision and a quick jolt to re-trigger your empathy and help the kid and the family get back on track! I cant say enough good things about Sean or this book! I have worked with adolescents for many years and this booked helped me to re-examine my work with kids and their parents. Schneider It's sad but true that wonderful, well-meaning parents have lost their ability to rule the roost. Every week I see parents in my office struggling to manage the little bully in their family but not knowing where to begin. This book studies this dynamic from it's very roots dating back to a parent's own childhood experiences that may contribute to an inability to draw a line, through their child's own life experiences, temperament and internal struggles. The author then knits these issues together and presents a detailed, intelligent and usable tool box of techniques and suggestions that opens up the possibility for new communication and respect. There is clear advise on matching the right moment with a particular technique, when to ask for help and how to guide a child into ENJOYING his or her return to kid status. No child REALLY wants to be the boss.
