The title doesn't fit in with the story By Ms. Em But as her other books this too is very enjoyable.The H & h were neighbor, their parents were friends. The h was 6 years his junior and haven't seen him for years since he left his father and left the country to married a dancer to spite him. After the death of his wife he went back to his hometown with his daughter also to claim the title along with his family house. The h doesn't like the way he treats his daughter and he is so different than what she remembered him when she was 14. She thinks he is a monster and a bad parent. They couldn't stand each other company but when things go wrong in their village they help each other to catch the villain and work on their not-so-hate-you feeling.

It's about taking control of your thoughts to take control of your feelings. That's all there is to it. The book is loaded with useful exercises that illustrate the concept and show you how to apply them to bring about change. However, you really need to do ALL of them faithfully to get results. The author explains a number of different ways in which we reinforce our inner critic and more importantly, they explain why we continue to use these self-limiting behaviours and provide alternatives. If you feel that you have no true worth and are not entitled to the good things in life, this means your self-esteem is low. And low self-esteem can have a painful and damaging effect on your life.In summary, this book has been instrumental in building my self-esteem. It is written in an easy to understand and relatively entertaining manner. If you're challenged by your self-esteem as I am, this book is the one to read.

By Kat Bartowski Self-confidence is really one of my weaknesses, I don't know why but I just feel anxious every time I talk to a large number of people. Like when I'm reporting some topics in front of my fellow classmates, or if we will have a graded recitation. It feels like my knees are shaking, and I can't deliver my speech or report well. So I try to search some books to overcome my fear, stress and anxiety and become more confident. And luckily I found this one. I was really inspired after reading this book. It really helped me to boost my self-esteem. Thumbs up!

Brant This book is a perfect resource for anyone who feels an inferiority complex when around other people. The truth is that you don't have to suffer anymore. This book goes step by step why you feel the way you do about yourself and how you can move beyond this internal negative talk and dialogue. I was amazed at all of the new ideas in this book that make a huge difference in your life. I wish I had this books decades ago when I hit a low point. It would have gotten me out of that in no time.

Great advice for a strong, healthy relationship By Kitty Smith Any woman who is looking to build a better relationship with the man in her life would do well to take these simple hacks to heart. This is a quick, easy guide to creating the sort of relationship anyone would love to have. They're all based on building trust and improving communication, and also learning to let go of old baggage and look to the future. Like it or not men are not women and they don't think or react the same as women do. If you want to really get your guy, this will show you how to decipher guy code. I'd recommend this to any woman who is serious about understanding how her man thinks and how to put that understanding to her advantage.

I plan to go back and start at the beginning of this series. I loved this book! It was full of action, adventure, mystery, intrigue and suspense.This episode starts out with a botched attempt to interrogate and transfer a prisoner to London, a Nigel Armstrong. Who is this man and why do the Nazi's, mainly Hitler want him back? And why go to so much trouble as to kidnap four people with Polio that are close to President Roosevelt to get him back?Helen Meeker and her group plan on finding out. They have even added a new member to the ranks, Darwin "Dizzy" Vance an ex gumshoe with a lot of baggage.Who would kidnap these people in the United States? Vance has the mob angle and has narrowed it down to Carfone. He just so happens to be on a few people's lists and it's not the nice one!Will the team be able to save the victims before Hitler finds out the bird has flown the coupe??? Or will the team be the next victims of the Nazi's terror.I recommend this book and can't wait for the next episode.

But, I really enjoyed this book. The fact that I have not read 1-7 didn’t matter. The book was a quick read and definitely kept my interest. I want to get episodes 1-7 as soon as possible. I can’t wait for episode 9!The setting is historical and realistic. I found it so very interesting how the characters are developing. It is a great book for anyone who enjoys adventure and clever writing.I received this free book from Book Club Network in exchange for my honest review

Stickland tries to find out why Hitler is so interested in Nigel Armstrong. He is a man of mystery and when a German bomb goes off near where he is being held, Armstrong disappears.Helen Meeker is lamenting the death of many of her teammates when her sister arrives with a new assignment. Four people have been kidnapped. Each of them had polio and had spent time at Warm Springs getting treatment. Was this some how connected to the president and his time spent there for his polio treatment?I continue to enjoy this series. Collins is great at getting the dialog, clothing description, etc., perfect for the time period. I also like there were a couple of interesting side issues in this episode. They included a discussion of whether some illness or tragedy might be a result of a judgment on a person's sin, and whether it was morally right to save lives by committing a sin. This was a question many faced during the war. “Is it mortally right to break a commandment or two to bring down a monster?” (127)I received a complimentary digital copy of this episode through The Book Club Network for the purpose of an independent and honest review.

"Alistair Begg’s book Lasting Love has been encouraging and strengthening marriages for almost 20 years. This book is more then a book on marriage it also deals with what it means to be father and mother within the context of marriage. This book provides a thoroughly biblical understanding of marriage and the roles assigned to husband and wife. In addition there are powerful illustrations given of the truths taught in this book.  The example of Robertson McQuilken used to illustrate the “in sickness” aspect of marriage vows is a touching picture of the beauty of biblical marriage.  Begg writes from the complementarian perspective, and demonstrates the biblical nature of his position as well as demonstrating the challenges that arise when the biblical pattern of marriage is abandoned as has been done by the greater part of American society. Books on marriage usually have very short life spans, they are popular for a time and then forgotten in obscurity. This book is not like this it is one that will benefit those considering marriage; those newly married, and even those who have been married for some time. About the Author William Guy is the author of The Last Nephilim, published in 2013 by Tate Publishing. He holds a medical degree from The University of Michigan and a PhD in experimental pathology from Wayne State University. Prior to practicing medicine he served as a genetics professor at Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Guy is a practicing psychiatrist who has been a regular contributor to the radio program Family Life Perspectives on WMUZ, and has also been a guest on several television programs.

How Fiction Sometimes Can Draw Us To Truth By Emory Daniels Having read “The Last Nephilim” by William Guy I was drawn to read his sequel, “Caphtorim: Book Two of The Last Nephilim” and I am glad I did.For some reason, I understood the first volume better after reading the first few chapters of ‘Caphtorim.” I also discovered when reaching the end Book Two that the author is planning another sequel and so we will end up with a Nephilim Triology.In Book One, Bill Guy uses fiction to explain how early man switched from worshipping one God to a society of worshipping many gods. In Book Two, the author offers his explanation of how Adam and Eve’s son and grandchildren ended up marrying others without having to commit incest. Very interesting. In the introduction, Guy offers three to four theories of how this happened and chooses one basic explanation for his novel.All scripture tells us is that the members of the Sons of Man were drawn to members of the Sons of God who were living on earth, and vice versa, and married each other. This continue far enough down the bloodline until humans could marry other humans without committing incest and weakening the human race. The apocryphal Book of Enoch offers more details and a better explanation of this process.Basically, either God purposely placed heavenly beings on earth to be available to marry humans, or expelled heavenly beings for disobedience in heaven or they became available for to marry humans. In either case, they the heavenly beings were evil who worshipped other gods and led humans away from God. There is the thought that these heavenly beings were so made that they could reproduce only with humans and not with each other. Therefore, the time would come when the heavenly beings (Nephilim and/or Eldils) would cease to exist.Guy makes an interesting distinction in using the terminology “heavenly beings” and not “angels.” Angels are a specific type of heavenly being, Guy explains, with the assigned job description of “messenger.” And so it was not fallen angels but other heavenly beings who became Sons of God on earth.While this is a work of fiction, the scenarios which Guy fully developed will lead us to a better understanding, if not an expansion, of truths we have long held.In Book Two we are told about Caphtorim who falsely claims to be a god, and about his many wives (including Europa, a believer in the true God, “El Shaddai”) and the siblings who were the offspring of Europa and Caphtorim. Young brothers who follow Europa’s teachings convince the other siblings to rely on El Shaddai to bring them victory in a great battle to save their “community.”And so the stage is set, and the plot begins moving swiftly to a fascinating end. I enjoyed “Caphtorim” much more than Book One and when I finished I went back and reread “The Last Nephilim.” Both are great reads and I now am looking forward to publication of the final book of the Nephilim Triology.

Some characters you may have enjoyed as a kid in Greek myths, and historical people-groups, are placed in really thought-provoking contexts. From straight-forward actions of Leviathon, to very relatable thought processes of diverse characters, the book stimulates thought and is an enjoyable read.
