About the Author Brooke Caputo suffered an unimaginable loss, when she was 25 years old. Her second born child, Katie Belle, was born terminally ill. Brooke began using writing as a form of grief therapy, and published her first children's book, I'm Still a Sister, in 2005. (2nd edition to be published in 2015) After the loss of Katie Belle, Brooke suffered from several miscarriages, depression and anxiety. She managed to keep her faith and never give up on the dream of growing her family. She and her husband, Dan,now have been blessed with four surviving children. She writes for the blog, "Does This Couch Make Me Look Fat?" about her trials and tribulations with fertility, depression, grief and many other mental health and physical issues. She has an active online presence, and can be found on many social media networks, lending support to other bereaved families. She and her family live in South Florida.

I think it really allows others that can't understand, understand a little more. My son passed at 5 months 1 day old, October 22, 2014. You're story gives me hope.
