By TheMrs This is not like other books of its kind because there are no other books of its kind. The author writes in a captivating way, pulling me in and wrenching my heart but, somehow, leaves me feeling more knowledgable and more capable on the other side. It's an easy read, I couldn't put it down.

Also a great book for parents looking to understand their children in a new, compassionate way.

Clarissa's intuitive perspective sheds light on the daily battles of children and parents. Although, focusing on the, 'troubled child'. The key tools outlined in this book can be used for children and parents in all walks of life. If you work with children, parents, families, schools, social services, or mental health. I highly recommend this book. The text is captivating and heartfelt. You won't be disappointed.
