I immediately ordered this book and read it upon my return. I have been retired for just over 12 years now and found this book to be very helpful. The book is concise, an easy and quick read, to the point and spot on. Tom explains how to remain engaged and active in retirement and thus be happy and ultimately joyful in the later part of your life. I've met many people who retire and aren't sure what to do other than play golf or watch television. Well, this book is for those retirees ... men and women alike. It explains how to give back; how to remain engaged; how to continue to learn and grow personally and how to enjoy life. Read it.

After reading Retirement: The Best is Yet to Come! it now seems so obvious to me why some retirees I know are truly inspirational and others are the opposite. Clearly written, the beauty of the book lies in its simplicity with his list of 25 bold steps. They are all so common sense and, it is hard to decide which ones are my favorites. I plan to give this book to some of my clients and to refer to it often to keep his 25 steps front and center as I approach my own retirement.
