It should be in every school library. As an adult I enjoyed it enough to read it twice but it's a great read for kids. The author has written a very engaging story with a time travel theme. The adult protagonist, Ted, is a sort-of-unhappy man who is a University Computer professor. He has a troubled relationship with his past. He was bullied in High School and had a difficult relationship with his dad. A Professor friend of his figures out a way to send Ted's 50 year old brain waves into Ted's 15 year old self. The adult Ted sees new and different ways to deal with the challenges of being a teenager. The book has issues including domestic abuse, child abuse, alcoholism, the gay student who got abused, and all kinds of other issues, many of them light and warm including romance and love. All of this is done in such an age-appropriate way that it would be a great book for a pre-adolescent as well as an adolescent.I cannot recommend this book any more highly.

A novel that heals, empowers, and bridges differences By Margaret Duarte In ALL THAT TIME, author Steve Liddick poses the question: If you could return to your childhood knowing what you know now, would your Now be a happier place? Then Liddick offers the reader a vehicle to do just that, via his protagonist, 55-year-old university computer science professor Ted McBride. What follows is a heart-warming story that made me think, Wow, if only. And then I thought of all the things I would do better the second time around. Of course, we can't go back and fix our past mess ups. But, and here's a big BUT, I realized that we can start living more conscientiously starting today. It's never too late, even though our best sometimes falls short. In a world riddled with fear, misunderstanding, and lost hope, I believe the audience is ready for novels that heal, empower, and bridge differences. And ALL THAT TIME is a perfect example of that type of novel, a genre called Visionary Fiction.

And yes, a 55 year old guy manages to make some timely corrections in his 15 year old life. While these corrections are life saving, interesting, and mature, the story doesn't end there. This book has one of the best endings I have encountered in a long time.I didn't get the feeling I was reading science fiction in this time-travel story. It felt like I was reading a foretelling of things to COME, rather than what had already happened. Now, I know that doesn't sound like it makes a lot of sense, but the story took the reader into this adventure so seamlessly that I felt like it was a story that could be happening soon. I remember how people spoofed at man walking on the moon, until it happened. This story is exactly like that.
