In this one Oliver's life gets more and more out of control as he gets embroiled with female drug addicts and their criminal schemes. Fans of Breaking Bad and Orange is The New Black are going to love this book.

It shows you how chaotic and insane life is, not just for the addict, but also for the people who love them. Once you go down the road of addiction, one bad decision follows another, and before you know it, you find yourself in situations that are so outragous and bizarre, a few months earlier you would have never imagined your life could become such a mess. My sister struggles with addiction. After reading this book, I feel like I understand her a lot better now.
14 of 15 people found the following review helpful. love is addictive as well By Marta Oliver's books are more addictive than drugs...There is something about this series that just really absorbed me and after reading the first part I felt compelled to get the second one straight away. In this book, Oliver describes his ups and downs in Florida. Really dark and realistic. OK- some people may not find it that realistic and it may be hard to believe what actually happens to this author, but hey, love is addictive as well. Personaly, I have met many addicts (I used to volonteer for a local organization helping ex-addicts that were actually still addicts....) and I am familiar with the "patterns" that Oliver describes. And just like he says- we should not be judging. I totally agree. So yep- this is a book on sex and drugs but I wouldn't say it about having fun. It's dark. Really dark. And now I am gonna grab the 3rd part.
