About the Author Christopher Moeller is a writer and painter specializing in fully-painted graphic novels. Moeller's signature creation is the Iron Empires science-fiction universe, comprising two fully-painted graphic novels Faith Conquers and Sheva's War, a short story in Dark Horse Presents, and a second in the anthology Negative Burn. In 2006, an Iron Empires role-playing game was published, called Burning Empires. Moeller has worked in the gaming industry in parallel with his comics work. He has done numerous illustrations for White Wolf Games, including covers for their Aberrant game books, and miniatures game. He has provided over 100 illustrations for the trading card game Magic: the Gathering. He has done illustrations for the World of Warcraft trading card game. He did the packaging art for the Axis and Allies Miniatures game.

REBOUTZAKOS "A League of One" is a great book. It contains two stories: the first is centered on Wonder Woman's dilemma - whether she would sacrifice her friends, herself or the world. The art is brilliant and breathtaking, well worth the read. In fact, it's so good, part of me hopes there are non-speech bubble full-scale paintings of these scenes; they're that great!The second story is far worse for me, but still great in its own madness! The JLA intercedes on an ancient battle in a far off system, but the stakes rise high and fast, and even the Justice League may not be able to fix the damage done. The art is similar in style to the first story, and that is where the great strength of this story comes from. Throughout it, we see incredibly silly things, pure comic-book fun, but due to the realistic art that looks very similar to a painting, it gains a gravitas that lifts it far beyond what this story deserves.A great book. Having only had limited exposure to the JLA, I am fully on board with its success after this one story.

Because among her many great traits is selflessness. In this, she attempts to save the entire JL, even at the cost of her own life, by circumventing a prophecy by an Oracle. I can't say more other than this is one of my favorite WW stories.
