4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Just kind of Average By Dylan Luciano The third volume of Secret Six isn't as up to the quality as the first two volumes of Gail Simone's run. The book, as the title shows focuses more on Deadshot then anyone else and while he is a interesting character I just don't find him too compelling without his teammates around. Not to mention this book ends on the low note of having a pointless Blackest Night tie in (which really should had been collected in Tales of Blackest Night and they should have dropped the reviving canceled comics for a issue thing, but I digress) I wouldn't even mind the focus on Deadshot or the general lack of impact that this book left on me if the art was better. The art just isn't up to the same quality as plenty of other DC comics and even the last two volumes of Secret Six. Even though I've been digging Gail Simone's Secret Six comic I can't see myself recommending this book to someone.

By Carter Just so people know, a lot of the reviews here are talking only about the original vol 3 of Secret Six: Danse Macabre. While Danse Macabre is included in this collection (and is frightfully awesome), the story "Cat's Cradle" is also included (which is also frightfully awesome).In Danse Macabre, you see what happens when DC comics' two greatest anti-hero teams face off against one another. Oh yeah, and there's also superpowered zombies. Effin a man.Cat's Cradle is a much more character centered piece, and a great example of why you don't mess with Catman. Ever since Villains United, Thomas Blake was very interesting and Cats Cradle aimed to shed some more light on him. Cat's cradle does its job and it does it well.You get both great stories, plus a few one-shots as well that explore characters and whatnot. I cannot recommend this volume enough.

Secret Six Vol. 3 Danse Macabre By Lamont Hamilton Not the best of the Secret Six in part because this is not one story, and Gail Simone is not the sole author also I might be a little biased since it came in pretty bad condition from the carrier I think but also due to the fact that it was not adequately packaged. Still it does have the Suicide Squad which is one of the reasons I wanted it and also because it's everybodies favorite antiheros.
