The struggle of a single Mom doing the best she could to put food on the table for her brood. A time when grandparents played an important role in helping to raise the children while teaching them important skills they could carry with them through their lives. Another amazing book by Vickie McGillis!!!

It held my interest throughout. The first book in the series was an excellent book also, keeping you turning those pages to see what happens next, and when you're done reading it, you want the next one to be there so you can continue. I'm waiting for the third in the series to appear!

I especially like how we are treated to insights into each child's uniqueness and how it binds them together as siblings. I am looking forward to reading more from this Author!! Kudos to you, Vickie!!
