About the Author Paul Knitter is professor emeritus of Union Theological Seminary in New York. He is the author of numerous books, including No other Name?; One Earth many Religions: Multifaith Dialogue and Global Responsibility; Jesus and the Other Names: Christian Mission and Global Responsibility; and Introducing Theologies of Religions. His most recent work is Without Buddha I could Not Be a Christian: A personal Journey of Passing Over and Passing Back.Roger Haight, a Jesuit priest and theologian, is director of the Ph.D. program at Union Theological Seminary. I found it helpful in my own spiritual journey is many ways; deepening my own understanding of my Christian faith, stretching my curiosity for healthier ways for me to know and practice my faith, I.e. Buddhism. This is a book for people who are on a journey and not busy building castles with huge walls to keep them safe.I have read both Paul and Rogers books for quite a while and count it a gift to have these two in dialogue. So many insightsAnd affirmations of my spiritual struggles and directions.
