It is an invaluable "go to" guide for someone whose loved one has been diagnosed or has symptoms of dementia or Alzheimer's. The information demystified many of the questions I had about what to do next. Thank you Patricia, Brenda and Jeri for sharing your experience regarding your mothers journey with your readers.

Baby Boomers Should Read This Book By Girdwood Girl This book is not just for those choosing a care facilities for someone else, and looking for tips on how to deal with that person's finances, medical or legal issues. Aging baby boomers should use this book as an aid in planning for their own future, and not leave it all for their families to sort out. The suggestions in the chapter on Advanced Care Directives are particularly important for everyone -- better to make these decisions while still high functioning mentally. The writing is clear; the suggestions are practical and well researched. The personal story adds interest and brings the human element to the subject. An engaging book, and not not just another "how to book" with boring lists and suggestions.

By Garon D Primmer This is one of the best books on the subject of navigating the complex and often daunting world of dementia care that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I have been in the eldercare industry for several years now and have amassed a number of different resources for my clients, most of whom have found themselves in extremely uncharted territory and who have no idea where to even begin looking for answers. This book will, for a long time to come, be right near the top of my suggested reading list.
