1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A realistic, low stress approach to better fitness! By Leftie I am a busy, working professional - no kids at home now! This book is great for so many ages and stages. The author provides a low stress, straight forward, well- researched and most of all realistic perspective for anyone who wants to improve mental and physical well-being. I would add that I have joined many gyms and wasted all that money - because I didn't go. This is a much more realistic approach for me!

Keeping up with my 4-legged friends By Marilynne Manguba No kids here, but I recently started working in agility with my German Shepherd, which entails running the dog through a course set out on 5,000 square feet or more . While I don't have to go over jumps or climb walls, it's still a lot of running for me. It's been really difficult to keep up and I'm often completely drained at the end of a just one run. As a result I've been casting around to find a good exercise program that will help. What a surprise to find the answer in a book focused on moms with young children. I especially like that there is no commitment of large blocks of time, and the hints on how to get started and stay focused. Then, there's the well-documented evidence that this program works and is supported by health professionals.

If you ever had an excuse as to why you are not exercising, this book helps you sort through every objection. No space? No time? No money? No clue how to get started? No problem! Jocelyn answers many of these questions for you in a way that is easy to understand and implement! She also gives you real advice on specific apps, websites, and exercise routines to help you get started. I highly recommend this book and look forward to her next books!
