It is filled with common sense information to help you help your children excel academically. Mr Avery is also on the same page as my husband and I in regards to college. If you want to see your children take responsibility for their own education then this book is for you. Mr Avery has also taken the time to research the top ten areas of degrees to pursue to see that your children step out of college working in their field of study. I highly recommend this read for any parent who is willing to be an active participant in their child's education.

By Amazon Customer As a former high school math teacher and current father of two middle school aged children, I couldn't agree more with Brian's views expressed throughout this book. From a teacher's perspective, it was very apparent to me which parents were spending time with their children working on homework. I am a firm believer that when you set appropriate challenges, children can accomplish incredible things as they strive to meet those challenges with consistent support from their parents. Although results will vary, one thing is certain, one can not go wrong by adhering to Brian's advice and investing time in your children to set them up for both academic and career success.

Good sound advice on raising your child to know responsibility and the consequences of their actions. Mr. Avery provides great advice on teaching your child to prepare for their future. I highly recommend this book to any parent.
