About the Author Kiersten Hall has been writing stories all her life... In her head. She is finally taking the time to put those stories down on paper for others to read. Her first book covers 15 years of memories from her experience of being a professional wedding videographer. With 1,400+ weddings to choose from, there are plenty of entertaining stories to share with the readers! She also has three other books started (as in actually on paper, and not just in her head.) The plan is to have her second book out during early 2017. Between raising her three children and operating her own business, Kiersten is starting to appreciate the fact that she can only seem to sleep four hours a night, these days, for all the work she seems to find for herself to do. EXACTLY as Kiersten describes in this book. Rare is the wedding which does not generate at least one amusing (or appalling) story among the contracted professionals.As a veteran of 10+ years of wedding photography, I found myself nodding and trying to remember the names on the oh-so-many weddings in which my experience echoed these, and trying to identify those venues that were described, but not named.If you're thinking of forging into a professional wedding service of any kind, READ THIS BOOK.If you're thinking of planning a wedding (or for that matter any large event) READ THIS BOOK.If you're thinking of attending a wedding, READ THIS BOOK!Yeah, I'm serious!

"I Do" was given to me as a gift by the author, a good friend of mine, and since I know Kiersten Hall personally, I can vouch for the fact that this was written truly in her own voice, just as she would describe - in person - the many hilarious, silly, and often downright unbelievable stories she has lived in her videography career! Nobody could make this stuff up. I enjoyed reading about the many venues, mishaps and accomplishments that Ms. Hall has experienced! Many pages had me feeling sorry for her as she lugged heavy equipment around during her pregnancies, some pages had me feeling sorry for the bride and groom, but ALL pages made me glad to have taken the time to read this fun and exciting book! I think this is a wonderful gift for all those newly engaged couples we all know, and the Wedding Directory checklist at the end of the book will prove invaluable to those just setting off on their own tales of marital bliss! This book - "I DO" - should be considered a 'must-have' for everyone's own library!
